My love for interiors is deeply rooted in my upbringing. From my mum, I inherited an instinctive understanding of how a home should feel. Watching her transform our own space taught me that good design is about warmth, balance, and creating rooms that genuinely support everyday life.
From my dad, a property developer in Madrid, I gained something equally important: a technical understanding of architecture. I grew up surrounded by plans, structure, and problem-solving, learning how homes are built, not just styled.
That blend of creativity and technical knowledge has shaped how I work today. It allows me to design spaces that are not only beautiful, but practical, well-considered, and built to last.
This foundation led me to study Technical Architecture at university in Madrid, where I learned how to bring creativity and precision together. It gave me the tools to approach interior design with clarity and confidence, understanding proportion, structure, light, and flow at a professional level.
Today, that training underpins all of my interior design services, whether I’m advising on a full renovation, a single room, or an in-home consultation.
An In-Home Consultation is where everything comes together. It’s the moment where I can fully understand a space, not just through plans or photographs, but by experiencing it in person.
Being in a client’s home allows me to see how rooms are used, how light moves throughout the day, and what feels right, or not quite working in real life. It also allows for open, honest conversations about lifestyle, priorities, and the way a home needs to function.
This is especially valuable for clients working on renovations or looking to elevate their home without unnecessary upheaval. An in-home consultation brings clarity, direction, and reassurance from the very beginning.
What I love most about in-home consultations is the human connection. My role isn’t to dictate or impose trends, it’s to listen carefully, guide thoughtfully, and help clients feel confident in their decisions.
Interior design should never feel overwhelming. Through these consultations, I help create clarity where there’s uncertainty and ease where decisions feel difficult. Whether it’s layout, materials, colour palettes, or finishes, everything is considered in the context of the client’s life and home.
When a client begins to see their ideas take shape, there’s a shift. Uncertainty turns into confidence, and their home starts to feel aligned with how they want to live. That moment is always incredibly rewarding.
For me, it echoes that early joy of sketching homes as a child, but now, those ideas become real spaces that clients can live in and enjoy every day.
An In-Home Design Consultation is more than a practical service, it’s a collaborative experience. It allows me to bring together my background in architecture, my passion for interiors, and a deeply personal approach to design.
Whether you’re planning a renovation, refreshing a room, or seeking expert guidance from an interior designer in Bristol, an in-home consultation is often the most valuable first step.
It’s how I honour my roots, my education, and the creative curiosity that started it all turning ideas into spaces that feel calm, considered, and truly personal.
