Luxury Lake House Design in the Cotswolds: A Holiday Retreat Inspired by Water & Natural Elegance

It was a pleasure to design this holiday home for a lovely family in the Cotswolds.

Water is an important element in the life of the clients, so we used this for inspiration in a few
places such as the cinema room, whose focal point is an impressive mural, surrounded by
velvet wallcoverings.

In the classy and indulgent family bathroom, we designed an illuminated tiled arch with
marble mosaic tiles, for a luxurious Roman bath experience, and in the master ensuite, the
star of the rooms is a 2.5 m long bespoke vanity unit.

The open plan room features a 2.6×2.6 m fireplace cladded with local Cotswolds natural
stone for cosy evenings in winter.

The house is flooded with natural light from the big openings facing the Lake, so we had
some fun with dark colour palettes combined with neutral hues in some of the rooms.
